For starters I hope you reported it as stolen before someone makes a lot of calls that you will be responsible for paying for! Have you tried calling the number to see if anyone answers it? The best thing to do is report it stolen and get a new one. I'm so sorry this happened to you and I hope you will be more careful with your cell phone from now on.

The bad news is that the chances of you ever seeing that cell phone again are pretty slim. There really is no way for you to "track" where you phone is. I would also recommend that you report the phone stolen so tha you can have the account frozen. If the account is frozen you wont have to worry about someone else putting charges on your phone that you will end up paying.

First you will not very likely ever see your cell phone again. You shoud as you have already been advised let your carrier know that the phone is lost or stolen. Then let the police know what has happened. My granddaughter had left her cell phone in the bathroom on a military instillation. And she didn't realize it until we were home about 60 miles away. She started calling the PX at the post. It wasn't turned in. We finally decided to go back to see if we could find it. Well we couldn't find it any where. We were about to leave when she spotted a seller of cell phones. She was lucky that someone turned the phone in to them. She was very lucky. Another time she was rafting the river and she and her friend put their keys and cell phones in a bag and left them beside a rock so they wouldn't loose them or get them wet in the river. Some one saw where they put the bag. Well when they got ready to go home the bag was gone with the cell phones and car keys. They turned them in to the police as being stolen. The police weren't very hopeful of them being found. They let their carrier know so they wouldn't be charged for all those possible calls. This was last summer and we haven't heard any thing about the cells being found.
This is her experience.

Hello dear subhaak. You could try to call the number of yours to check if the person who has it now would answer and be happy to give it back to you, otherwise it is impossible to get it back. I had one of mine picked up by someone while I was visiting at a scenic spot. When I found that I lost it, I dialled my cell phone number and it was ringing without anyone answering the phone and later it was turned off. So I knew that the game was over and that I would never get it back. I had no other way but to go China Mobile to cancel the old sim card of mine so that no money would be lost from sim card of mine. Then I got a new sim card but the same number. The old sim card is now useless. And I went to buy a new but cheap Nokia cell phone to use. It is very good in quality and is still in use for more than two years. Anyway I wish you good luck to get it back.

I don't want to discourage you, I don't think there's any chance you get that cellphone back. Or that chance is very little, but try out dude... first, if you haven't reported your cellphone, you'd better do it, and talk to the police and talk to your operator, they can track down the cellphone by the SIM card, even if it doesn't make any calls. If the telephone is on, they can track it.
