well I think if I won that much money I would not need to work even if teaching is in my blood. I think if i still wanted something to do I would stay on a list of active subs.
when i think how much they do and all they put up with in todays society they are way underpaid so I dont think thats what keeps them in that profession.

Hello dear kilani. Sometimes I would like to fall into the imagination that I would get that much money by buying lottery so that I would not have to work that hard to support my life and family. I have to say that I am a teacher and I love my work, but with that much money I could get, I would use it to start my own school and I would still go on with my career, but that is a different feeling and concept, because I would work as a boss, not an employee. I hope that this dream would come true some day with great luck. lol

A good teacher is not made but born to be a teacher.
Not everybody can be a good teacher and these teachers usually have a special bond and devotion towards their teaching career.
I don't say that I am a good teacher but even if I win one million dollar, I will not leave my teaching profession. Money is one thing but the love for my teaching career is another thing. I will not trade my profession for anything else in the world until my retirement.

Teachers usually choose to do what they do out of a personal drive. Most teachers choose that job because they have a passion for it. They feel that they are really making a positive contribution to the lives of others and the country's educational development. On that note, I would say that teachers who became rich would probably not quit their job. There are some that would, sure, but most of them, I believe, wouldn't because they love their job.
