I think the majority of people stay with myLot more for the conversation and interaction than the money. I do.
If you check people's profiles, you'll see that alot of them have links to other money-making sites. These are probably the sites you'll want to check out if you're looking to make any real amount of money.

MyLot isn't the easiest site to make a set amount of money everyday. If someone goes on a thread that you a participating on and enter a link, your whole participation will be wasted because the thread could be deleted by myLot. Deleted threads mean no credit towards earning.
I consider myLot a forum to share info about things I'm interested in. I have learned so much from some of the folks here about making money online and I really enjoy the craft discussions. Some days I only make a couple posts, other days I might be on myLot for an hour. Once I started treating myLot like a forum, instead of a way to make money... my earnings started growing!
If you would like sites that can help you earn money, accept my friend request and I'll send you a private message with links to what I'm involved with.

If you are wanting to make money with MyLot the only way to make a decent amount is by referrals. This way you get a percentage of what they earn.
This is still hard going though as many members soon drop out when they realise that they aren't making much money.
Really MyLot is more of a social thing and the cash is just an extra benefit.
Mike.

I spend maybe 6 or 7 hours a week on average (sometimes more sometimes less) on mylot and have gotten payout 3 or 4 times. I don't use it for more than the occasional online spending money, and enjoy answering the discussions. I doubt that you could actually make a decent amount of money here unless you have a lot of referrals that are active and spend many hours a day on the site. I drive a truck cross country and so cannot spend that much time here on a regular basis.
