I am really bad at charging my cell and I rarely notice the battery is low until the beep chirp. I broke down the other day in the car and reached for my cell and of course it said beep chirp. If the car had been running I would have driven over the phone!

how funny that you ask this question - I just needed to take a trip into town and as I was heading out the door I hear *chirp* *chirp* that annoying reminder that I was not paying attention to the battery level. the battery seems to keep for about 5 days with the phone on all the time - it used to keep for 12, guess it, like me - is getting old.

Hello dear ersmommy. I charge my Nokia cell phone every seven days. I am very happy that I do not have to charge it every other day like many people do. My nokia is 1100, a very old type, but works very perfectly. I do not charge it so soon when it says Low Battery. Instead I will be able to use it for another half a day before it needs to be charged. Thanks for your discussion, dear friend.

My phone doesn't make a chirping sound, it just shuts itself off when the battery runs out. I have three bars on my phone that tell me the power level and if it's down to the last bar for a day or so, that's when I'm in danger of it shutting down. When it goes down to two bars for more than a day, I charge it up. Usually, it's around once a week. But, if I talk on it a lot, I might have to charge it more often.
