I can only imagin! I have never visited Jamaca but would love to one day in the future, have seen picures and it looks a fantastic place to be :)

I have lived here for five years........moving from the U.S. and it is the best decision I have ever made. The weather is usually great .....sun.........few clouds...and the food is not only healthy but tasty.....I hope you will get a chance to visit one day and I do rent rooms at my villa reasonablely.

Jamaica is very nice, however on a lot of the cruises that you take there they'll take yoiu to the stabbing Jamaica. We went on one and It was a complete disaster. The waters were very beautiful there and it is as clear as the shows all portray it to be, however, when they take yoiu there, you'll stay in a resort where you'll wander if it's ok to go to sleep or not. And when you walk around and view the sites even the beaches, you'll be worried that someone will try to jack you. That's just the part that we went to though, we go it in a vacation package with a cruise, and it was horrible. Definately research your options and make sure you know where your going. Because you don't want to end up on the ghetto part, in which a lot of the packages try to take you. Not all sometimes you'll get really good packages, but just be careful.

Jamaica is very beautiful. I went on a cruise 3 years ago and went to Ocho Rio. That is where the famous waterfall is and there is a beautiful botanical garden. From what I understand, the best places to be though are where the tour guides bring you. I have heard that you don't want to venture off on your own. Jamaica is full of very down and out people who will do just about anything to get some money. The beautiful pictures that you see in magazines and such are usually right around the beach area, which is truely beautiful. The water is wonderful. Enjoy!
