Do you have dreams for the future?

I don't know what happened to the poetry icon, but I can't find it.
Do you have dreams for the future? Are you going to follow them? Have you written them down with every intention of making those dreams come true?
I wrote a poem about this. I wrote it the weekend a member of our writing group died, but before we knew she had died. You can read it here:

I am not sure what else I want to do with my life. I wouldn't mind trying a few things but it's finding the time and $$ to do them. I'll keep them on my list and work on at least achieving a few of them in the near future. Who knows what life will bring us tommorrow. Thanks for sharing your article Pat. Got me thinking!

I always have dreams for the future and I do write them down and mark them all off as I reach them. It is a good feeling when you work so hard to reach a goal and finally get to retrieve some of them.
I'm sorry to hear about your friend from the writing group.

I used to dream of being great, of doing great things, of being a hero to people who are stuck in poverty. Now I am stuck in poverty and the other year I was so down and out that I dreamed of dying. I did not die and here I am and the future seems to be here now.
