Referral Earnings Percentage Increased From 25% to 50% Until May 31

Who wants a raise? In an effort to promote the new mYlot Flyers links and the continued growth of myLot, we are doubling the referral earnings percentage from 25% to 50% effective immediately. This special promotion will last until May 31, 2008. So if you refer a new user to myLot, and that user earns, let's say, $10.00, you will now receive referral earnings of $5.00 (50%) instead of $2.50 (25%). Better yet, we are starting this promotion retroactive to March 1! So if you have referral earnings in March, you will now see that those earnings have doubled, reflecting the new 50% rate. So to be clear... the increased rate pertains to both new referrals and existing referrals. We've already seen an increase in the number of referrals as a result of the new myLot Flyers. But we're ready for even more! If you'd like to try out the myLot Flyers, simply go to any interest page and click on the green flyers link on the right hand side. You can then click on "get html" to grab the code to promote myLot on your website, blog, MySpace page, etc. Although we're encouraging everyone to try out the myLot Flyers, we recognize that not everybody has great HTML skills (or a website or blog for that matter) and would still like to promote myLot. So the increased percentage still applies to the standard referral url that you can email to your friends and family. If you're new to myLot, just look on the left-hand side of the page when you're logged in, and you will see a link after the text "your referral url is:". If you email this link to your friends and family and they sign up for myLot after clicking on this link, they will be credited as your referral. You will then earn referral earnings equal to 50% of your referred user's myLot earnings. So let's get started! We encourage you to share tips and tricks with each other on how to best increase your referral earnings. We have a lot of creative myLotters out there who are great at generating referrals, so let's share that knowledge! Want some motivation? Here's a little secret... The members who earn the most money on myLot are good at generating quality referrals. Some members are currently earning over $100 per month in referrals alone... And that's before this raise. Thanks for your attention. Now, let's help myLot grow!

Hello Crash, You know that's really a good offer. But, does no good to bring you free leads and we're not able to contact our downline. If I can't follow up to my referrals, then it's working for free. It's not like you have a email system so you we can send them a thank you for joining and if you have any questions contact me.

Thanks for the response, friend2friends. Your suggestion is something we've talked about before, but there's a fine line we have to balance between allowing users the ability to contact referrals, and respecting the privacy of our new users. We do generate the pending friend request for your new referral, and if they accept you can then freely contact them and encourage them to use myLot. This is definitely something we have looked into and will continue to consider, but I wanted to convey why we currently don't have that option.

Yes, I agree. If you can make more changes for us to contact our referrals. I have 9 referrals who are very much inactive or most has no participation at all. When I checked my friends lists, they are not included. I cannot send them a message. If you can also consider an email alert or one time email sent to referrals, an invitation and some testimonials sent to their email from the moment they sign up so they can have an overview of the fun and excitement plus the earnings here at mylot. Thanks and more power! JNY

Thanks for the reply Crash. I understand what you're saying on the pending request. That's all it is just a request. That's not actually contact unless they come back and log into there account and if they do not look on top there not going to see it. Peope always looks down, not up. Be great is we had the notices under the earnings. That we all keep our eyes on. I understand the point about the privacy, but there is a solution. Members could have the option to make there email address available to there sponsor and to the referrals. If they wish not to be contacted, then they can just tick to hide. That you can easily code in. Fortunately I use a 3rd party downline builder program that is free and I'm able to contact my referrals.

Thank you! I've been going crazy this last several hours trying to figure out why my earnings were going up a few cents every time I refreshed a page. I just made an extra $2.14 - thanks myLot!

Yeah, what you experienced was our system updating all of March's earnings to reflect the increased rate retroactively. Good luck getting more referrals!

I finally figured out that it was my referral earnings that was increasing, but I couldn't pinpoint why. I assumed that maybe there was a boo-boo in what had been calculated previously. Either way, I was loving the numbers! Thanks again ... now to draft a new msg to include this latest incentive!

It's possible they didn't have cookies enabled on their browser. Have this person email username myLot stating that you referred them, and we will be glad to manually make this person your referral.

Wow, Crash! That's a great incentive. I don't have referrals as I haven't had much luck with finding them but maybe I will give it another try.

That is a great idea and I am sure this will help us get referrals especially if we tell the referrals the new incentive raise. It is a fun and informative place to be and get paid. I love myLot! I am off to enter this on my blogs, my website and in a forum or two.

Thanks myLot - I'll take a raise anytime I can get it. I don't have many referrals or real active ones but every penny helps in my case so thank you very much. I have placed a few of the fliers on my blog and time permitting plan to use several on my web pages - I love this feature myself.

hi,crash,it's really a big surprise to see my earning increasing bulkily this morning. yesterday,i just use the flyer in my space and blog, and it seems having taken 5 new referrals to me today.i have a lot of referrals before through my promotion efforts in many hot forums.such act is inspiring and encouraging for me. while, only a very small fraction of my referrals are active,i think it's only 2.25%.most of them never responded to or started a new discussion.i doubt they have given up the former account to open a new one.mylot has won while i have lost.i admit mylot is doing better and better no matter in referral prize or other part, whenas that's still a problem. what do you think about it? any way,i enjoy stay on mylot,i spend many hours on mylot every day since i joined it a month ago.it's a wonderful place to communicate with worldwide members and enjoy posting. that's what i told to every referral.i hope mylot can be better and better sincerely.
