i would have to disagree, sachin may have the better record but, he has played so many odi's and test on batter friendly wickets and against lesser opponents. just look at the amount of times he has played the top four countries Australia, new zealand, england and south africa, wont be half as many as the other countries. my vote goes to mike hussey from australia, although only a newcomer he has showed his skills both up and down the order in all different situations against all the great cricking nations.

well, thanks for replying.... i would agree that sachin the NEW is not as agressive as the sachin the OLD...but its is necessary to provide balance when wickets are falling around u. How could u pick that sachin didnt play well with the above mention countries.... if u were to analyze the records... then sachin has hit magnificent match winning knocks against them.. dont remember warne having nightmares... kasprowiz being hit for sixes...mcgrath's frustrated look... remember that pre1998 if there was india among the charts of winning then it was sachin who has single handedly carried on the runs on most occassions... u talk about hussey but he is a new entrant...even though i like his batting... considering 17 years and 3 years of international cricket is baseless.
