We know that famous sayings are a kind of cognition, a philosophcal realization of the outlook on the world, life and values. Each saying is a reflection of the rich life expericence of the wise men. It's a conlusion of their success. So ,my friends, everyone of you must have a favourite famous saying which you set them as your motto. What is it? and why do you like it?

this is probably one of my favorites of all time, though it's not really a motto:
Auugh! I’ve been kissed by a dog! I have dog germs! Get some hot water! Get some disinfectant! Get some iodine!
-Lucy Van Pelt, Peanuts Character
The ones I try to live by come from Mother Teresa:
-Let no one come to you without leaving better and happier.
-If we really want to love we must learn how to forgive.
-If you judge people, you have no time to love them.
-It is not how much we do, but how much love we put in the doing. It is not how much we give, but how much love we put in the giving.
I could really go a long time quoting more from her, lol.
