I think it's easy for me to forget what I've learned from school. I don't feel satisfied with the education system in my country. This is why some bosses are unwilling to hire the freshmen who just graduate from school.

I think if you engaged in R&D work,it's obviously not enough. But if you engaged in some usual work,it's enough. When you work, what you should learn is not the knowledge but the experience. It can't be learned from school and only be accumulated from work.

i believe in that too. not all we learn from school are even helpful when we face the real world. :) believe me in that. its a tough world out there and we get to learn things in the process.

Hello dear dqh. I think that it is true indeed because what we have learnt from textbooks at school is very limited. It is only some of the basic theories. Once you get to work, you are trying to put the theories into practice and still there is still too much for us to learn...Besides, you know, our knowledge needs to be upgraded every now and then. So are the textbooks.

ha yeah pretty much i wish the teachers sometimes would stop waisting their time preaching to students about how such important a diploma is when they need to be giving them jobs , like it is disapointing that you go to school get the degree and your knocked down to a sucky job or your not taught enough or basically dont know crap ..its like a big lie for 4 or however many years you go to school ...i just wish people would stop the lies

Your sister could be telling the truth, times had been changing at a fast pace yet schools had been sticking with their old teachings. I myself thinks this is the case therefore I don't really listen to everything that I was taught. In fact, I don't think graduating in a school would really matter to me as I want to set up my own business... it's something that school won't ever teach you about. Business schools only grooms you on how to be a manager, not set up your own business.
