Why is it that dog is the favorite pet?

dogs interact more with people and love to play and love on you. cats really just sleep most of the time besides eating and going to the bathroom and as far as other pets are concerned they just aren't as much fun. a dog can bring so much pleasure into your life and they are always intune to how you are feeling that day. I think most people prefer a dog because they are so easy to train and you dont have to really work for there affection. I mean think about it, when was the last time you were able to walk up to a cat and say shake and extend your hand and have the cat extend its paw like most dogs would. and you really cant train a snake or fish. and personally i really wouldt want mess with a tiger haha if it is big enough to eat me im staying away from it. and like i said you dont hae to work fo your dogs affection. they are always willing to be your friend and happy to see you. my fiance owns 3 cats. each one has a different personality. and unlike a dog if they dont want to be touched they dont let you touch them. were as a dog would prolly just stand there. birds are my personal fav. pet. they are smart, loving,and most can be trained to do odds and ins things.

Since I was a child we have a dog pet, and a cat but I really choose a dog. My father knows how to trained our dog. For me dog gives us security it is really mans best friend they can protect us from enemies, they can learn easily some tricks and to defend us. I know some animals can do it also but not all.

Many People choose "Dog" is our pet animal. But I observed even elephants have as much affection to towards man who rear him from childhood. I watched a young elephant was keeping his head with the face of a man and ask him to play with him. He made so much tactics and convinced him to take a bath and to feed. Most of the animals reciprocate our love. But we have experienced with dogs and cats and cows only
