there is a commercial I keep seeing late at night about old jewerely and people can send there jewelery to this website for money. they say they have their own melting plant and you get your money back quickly. Just send them your old unwanted jewelery, NOT I am not sending anything to a place I never heard about but I can't remember the name of the place, it was like oldjewelery.com or something like that. there are several bogus sites that say this: when you look it up on google. Domain Name: oldjewellery.com Status: clientDeleteProhibited, clientRenewProhibited, clientTransferProhibited, clientUpdateProhibited Registrar: COMPUTER SERVICES LANGENBACH GMBH DBA JOKER.COM Whois Server: whois.joker.com Referral URL: http://www.joker.com Expiration Date: 2008-10-18 Creation Date: 1999-10-18 Last Update Date: 2007-06-27 Name Servers: dns1.register.com dns2.register.com Extended Info IP Address: 209.67.50.203 IP Location: United States Website Status: inactive Cache Date: 2008-03-19 20:24:38 MST has anyone heard of the site and what its actual name is and would you send your jewelery out blindly like that, I sure the heck wouldn't I wonder how much tv stations even verify to see if these places are even legit.

I have seen this one many times as well. I don't remember the name either. With how the world is turning out I think everything is a scam of some sort. That's one thing that people are getting scammed all the time. I think the majority are the elderly. I can't stand places like this. I have also noticed alot of elderly people getting phone calls from places like the red cross, or some charity. When asked to make a donation they say no and the person on the other end then says something along the lines of "thank you Mr. Smith for the $50 donation and then they say they will pass you along to the supervisor to talk details. I was on the phone with a elderly gentelmen that this happened to and I completly lost it. I was so aggrovated and disgusted with these people for praying on the elderly like this. How can these people even live with their selves when they do this?

Ok let me get this straight.. They are wanting people to send in there gold, they send you the package, and you send to them with no receipt or anything showing that is yours and you sent. and then in return they send you a check!! yea what world or planet are they from? If someone is really stupid enough to do that and loose the change to never get it back or get any money from it, then they deserve to loose it... Thats crazy!!! would never do that!!! you would never know if your getting money back or for that matter if the check is legit! Deedee
