Have you tried to refund when you are shopping online?

Today I experienced this. I waited for three days but the buyer is still unable to deliver the goods. I feel very impatient to it. If he doesn't have stocks or have such a product, then don't put it online and sell it. So finally today I ask for the refund and the buyer doesn't have any disagreements. Actually he asks me to do it, because he isn't sure when he will have this product. However, he hasn't confirmed the refund yet. Although I can get my money back after 5 days, but it's still so bothering. He just clicks to confirm it and that's all. But somewhat he ignores it. I am quite unhappy to it.

Have not tried it yet but we might... in the next few days when our bank account will not change. My hubby bought a collectible coins from Franklinmint... We were charged twice and when he opened again our account, we were charged for the third order... and we ordered only once. He tried to call and they said he really did order 2... so he can't do anything anymore about that... but now that they charged him for the 3rd one, he will call again and might cancel the order and get the refund. We ordered it last month and we have not received the merchandize yet and they are charging us again. It's so frustrating.

As you know, sometimes we can't find something we want in the stores. Besides, the online products really have a competition price and it's so attractive. Frankly, I have tried to buy so many things online but there is no problem at all except for this time. I think it'll be OK, but I've to wait for a few days for refund.

I had never tried any refund after I bought online. So far all the purchase I made are successful and the good are delivered in good condition. I was very cautious when shopping online because I am aware there are too many scam out there. I usually buy things from those established and reliable web-site like amazon.com, air-ticket & etc.

That's true. I always access the risk before making purchase, be it online or not online. This is to safeguard our hard-earned money. But I am so sad about the high inflation phenomena that is taking place in our country, due to the ignorance and tyranny of our government in managing the national economy. It makes our value of money shrinks and it really sucks!

Hi youless. The seller ypu refer to is very unreliable and cannot be trusted. Luckily I never experience such as incident in ordering the products through online.
Normally before I buy, I will check the seller's status and if I trust the seller (with good record), only then I will order the products.
For your information, I've never ask for refund of the money but I did ask for the seller to send me the new product since the one that he sent to me broke into two while in the process of sending it to me. Without questioning, he sent me a new one within 4 working days. I rated the seller as reliable and trustworthy.

you may find a seller who is reliable and trusthworthy next time around., and be sure to check the terms and conditions (agreements). Even me, if i experienced the same thing as what you have experiencing i feel also very bad. This is just a trial. Worry no more, you can just refund the money.

I've never had any kind of problem asking for a refund when I shop online. But, luckily, all of the people I have dealt with have been very reputable. On a lot of sites, there are things you can do to force them to give you a refund. I know that eBay and Paypal have ways of pressuring sellers to refund money if they don't deliver the product in a reasonable amount of time. I hate it when they list an item on sale and available, but then say that they're out of stock after you've ordered it.

I have bought things online and have taken it back to the store (if there is one in our area) for a refund. The store I shop at usually gives me several options to do this and have not had a problem since.
Who did you shop with online? do they have a refund policy?

Luckily I have never had to return anything online yet, I am always afraid that if I have to it would be a lot of trouble getting my money back.

That's one of the disadvantages of shopping online especially if you are not sure of the history of the person as an online seller. I have not tried shopping online and I wouldn't like to, since I've heard a lot of problems like what you are having right now.
