they want me to lead the Easter service...

hey all~
so yea, some of you, those who 'know' me (as far as know me on mylot) have been following the info about the youth center that i run. how we're going forward with plans to hold an inter-denominational (Christian) youth worship service. well for this month, we figured on doing an Easter service. after all the service is the day b4 Easter.
well even though i wasn't the one who suggest doing an Easter service, or even suggested starting the monthly youth service, i was designated to lead this months service.
i'm sortta ambiguous about it too...it's been a while since i have 'lead' a service. i mean i do announcements most of the time at the center, and maybe read a story from Chicken Soup for the Christian Soul....but lead a service....WOW it should go fine, i trust it will be a fun time where the youth will be able to learn the true meaning of this great holiday we call Easter!

congratulation for your new responsibility. it's a greater opportunity to serve god. that position will also give you a chance to learn a lot.

hi there~
yea i'm looking forward to what i WILL learn. we will have between 3 and 6 of the different local Christian Churches represented....if all goes well....this month (and every month here after) all the different youth leaders/pastors will tag team and all take part in the service! this month, we're planning on taking turns reading the account of Easter from the different Gospels and then taking a little bit about what Easter means to us personally!
