The last time I said "i love you" to someone was just this morning to my 21/2 year old daughter who said "i love you" back to me.

i say i love you to my children everyday and they always respond with i love you mum.when i drop my daughter at the train station in the morning,i say love you and have a good day and also to my son .i suppose we just have always said it that it is natural for us .you look at peoples faces when you say it and they look really surprised.cheers sue

I guess not a lot of people are used to seeing parents and kids being "showy" to each other these days.

I said those lovely words to my partner before leaving the house. She replied with the same words of affection and gave me a kiss after. I also sent her an SMS just now with those words and replied back with those words again. How lovely.
