converting videos

what is the best software to use to convert a mov file to windows media. my kodak camera takes videos in mov and i would like to convert these to windows media, any help appreciated.

I don't know if you have heard of this program but I'll have it here anyway. I am using Alive Converter. It's easy to use and it converts all my video files into different formats.

i suggest that you give a try to total video converter...... i have used it and liked it for its work.. it can convert almost any format to any otherr format....

I too love using VCD Cutter a lot. It has many options for converting media files. You can also convert your file to avi format, in which editing becomes very easy and fast too. I suggest you to convert the files to avi format first with VCD Cutter and then going for editing.
