I am still not receiving all my notification emails are you?

I received a response to a discussion over twenty minutes ago which I discovered when I went into discussions I have started but as of this minute have still not received a notification of it to my email address. Is anyone else having this problem? All my notifications are on. Ellie :D

I have found that there is usually a lag of up to 10 minutes in receiving a notification that someone has posted a comment etc. I think that there are some that don't get through at all though. But although I have ticked all the notification boxes I am certain that there are some occasions when the system doesn't pick up a comment at all. For example: let's say that you respond to a discussion. I see your comment and post one to you under yours. I usually don't get a notification if you reply back, but did you get one to say that I had responded to yours? Confusing isn't it?

Oh yes there definately is a slight time difference but I haven't recceived this at all or yours, got yours through discussions I've started list. I agree it would be useful if we were to receive notifications of the extra comments as I have to trawl through all discussions hoping I having missed any, but there are always two or three that I have and it gets frustrating. I'm sure they will sort that at some stage too eh! Seems I'm not receiving any notifications at all again at mo. Ellie :D

I've been out for the past 4 hours and just logged on and there was only 2 notifications in my e mail. BUt I have many more than 2 posts that have been replied to. Something funny is going on again. I hope that we are not going to have whole Easter weekend without notifications again.

I am getting my notices but no body notice me here:( I started yesterday and replied to few discussions and when a couple of them replied to my comment I got email. That's great! but not everybody replies, do you know why?

hello laughnroll, welcome to MyLot, there does seem to be a blip in the system with the notification emails at the moment but I am sure they will sort it soon. Meanwhile keep answering discussiions and starting discussions and add friends and you will soon be receiving a lot more replies. I for one have noticed you. Thank you for response. Ellie :D
