hw many raag u hav learned....n frm whom(i meant who is ur guru).......n wich is ur fav raag......mine is raag bhairav n kaafi n hameer n bihaag.........................

I am not so familiar with raag. Perhaps this is what is called raga? Cheers!!

Actually raag helps us to control our breath during singing. It also smoothens the ssinging. We get a good control in our singing when we practice riyyaz on different raags.

I started my singing class when I was a fifteen years old. I learned it for another four yeasr before going for a government job. Now, at the age of forty I am learning classical singing again with harmonium. The teacher is teaching me sa re ga ma, because my voice has changed drastically and voice training is required before actually I go for singing. What is your opinion on this? Can I become a singer one day?
