Nice to know that most of the people go to wild on the occasion of holi. I think we should write the word holi as holy. It is a colorful religious and traditional festival. We can only see it on television channels. Why the most of people go wild on the occasion of Hloy. I want to learn it.

Hello, asheesh! Happy Holi...... Holi is one of the religious festivals of the Hindus. But in Orissa it is celebrated by all irrespective of cast and creed.it is a festival of colors. we play with different colors with friends and relations and greet each other.people engage in merrymaking during the whole day.although it is associated with religion, the color festival also has scientific background.as during the winer season we bath less and the skin was not properly cleaned and just after winter the color function comes after the full moon night of Phagun and after playing colors we bath and clear the colors stick up to the skin so that the skin will regain its original glaze.are you playing colors?do play and enjoy.thank you.

colours can turn one wild. yes i do go craaaazzzzyyy on holi. i am actually living in kerala where holi is not usually celebrated. but in my college, as i am a hosteler i have northie friends and they all celebrate holi and what more to ask for . who will not wish to spread colour . so i merge with them go from room to room and soak the others in colour and eventually a big spray fight ensues where no one shows mercy and no one is bound to escape the crutches of the maniacs. it is a totally awesome day.
