Our dog stays inside the house all the time. So we definitely clean up after his mess all the time. He is a pretty clean dog, really. We trained him to poop and pee in one place only, and that's on a piece of rug in one corner of the house. Sometimes he hides his poop under the rug for reasons we still can't figure out. Our guess is that maybe he doesn't want anyone to make a mistake of stepping on his poop.
