I fundraise too, and last August, I held a treasure hunt. I called it The Quest For The Bolney Grail, and decorated a pewter goblet with stick-on jewels and hid it in an oak tree in the churchyard, across the way and up steps from the pub.
In order to gain the last clue for the whereabouts of the Grail, participants had to get the most points in solving the clues on a sheet I had written out. I tried to incorporate Saxon buildings, villages and places of interest, and they all enjoyed it so much, they requested making it an annual event. I charged entry fees per car, and afterwards, arranged a barbecue at the local pub, where the hunt began. The landlords kindly donated a free barbecue and one free drink each for the winning team of four.
Maybe that would be one idea to think about? I wish you luck in your fundraising drive. It can be hard work at times, but people are usually quite responsive, and can even enjoy themselves.
Brightest Blessings.

Our Prefectorial Board is organizing an annual trip this year and therefore we are planning a few projects which include:
1) Car Wash
2) Garage sale
3) Movie Premier
4) Food stalls
5) Service project
6) Food fair
Last year we managed to collect abot $10,000. Hopefully this year we are close to the same collection.
Maybe you can consider some of our projects. All the best to you.
