If You think the Economy is Bad Now...

We had the DotCom Bubble, we are now in the Housing Bubble, and thanks to the Senate we may be headed into a Global Warming Bubble.
The economy is about to get a lot worse... here are the sorry details...

Now I ask you, does this seem like a reasonable thing to do for a lousy 25PPM CO2 reduction by the year 2095?
Is it worth putting our economy into depression era reductions in gross national product on the basis of a THEORY?
How can anyone blast Bush over his economy and then support something like this?

The economy during the Clinton year where based on corruption and greed. Amazing I thought that only Republicans where corrupt and greedy. DotCom's, Enron, WorldCom, and others made the 90's boom, but of course those companies do not exist today. Global Warming cannot be proven that it even exist, or even if it is a bad thing. Who can say what the optimal temperature of our Earth. Even if the Earth temperature rises ONE degree is that really a bad thing. A small price to pay for the best living condition. Yes we could go back to living in hut, but why.

The thing is that this EPA report shows that we are about to spend a massive amount of money to try and stop global warming, and by the year 2095 all it will accomplish is maybe reducing our CO2 output by 25PPM by the year 2095.
Considering the fact that this is all based on a theory, and further that it is now the theory is now considering that CO2 is not even a major contributor to global warming... instead the Sun and water vapor are... which are things we cannot control anyway... and further considering that there are serious doubts of the "consensus" that man may have a detectable influence on greenhouse gas and global warming... yet they are trying to push this Bill through Congress anyway.
Now does that seem reasonable to you?

Hello Destiny,
Great discussion! Now let's hope that any potential respondents do not perform a "collective blink".
I am simply astounded by how many people are willing to substiute big oil greedsters with big any other industry greedsters. And, that is exactly what is going on here.
I believe this quote from the article best summarizes the nonsense behind the GW movemement:
"The only conclusion I could come to was that the audience is so steeped in anticipation of climate profiteering that there is no fact that will cause them to reconsider whether or not manmade global warming is a reality. The callousness of their blind greed was also on display at the conference...."
To be sure, I will not go "quietly into the night" over this collective scam. These greedsters rely on ignorance and apathy, so that they can pull the wool over peoples eyes, while they line their pockets. At every opportunity I will speak out against their hypocrisy and corruption.
Who would have thought that America would end up populated by the kind of sleeze who would sell out their own national economic security for a few bucks. Where has honor gone?

Well, as much as I deplore our moral decay in America, the government and industry were the first to go.
Both are rife with corruption and greed, and they don't much care who gets stepped on either.
What astounds me is how someone can create an issue out of nothing, and get public opinion worked into such a state that the next thing you know it is a world wide looming catastrophe that is about to destroy the world.
This is exactly what has happened with Global Warming, and now the wolves are gathering to feast off all of the Sheeple, and reap the profits of a manufactured non-existent calamity.

Hello Destiny,
Thanks! I sometimes find myself so caught up in attempting to speak out against the baseless steps being taken to corrupt people's minds about GW, and the foolhearty efforts, legislatively and otherwise to correct this non-issue, that I sometimes forget your terrific point.
It is spectacularly amazing how quickly this firestorm has spread. If you asked everyone that you knew even a few years ago, I would bet that not one had ever heard of global warming. Yet, today so many are so blinded by the erroneous case that has been made for GW, that they are oblivious to all fact and reason that has been submitted by science to refute the garbage science behind GW alarmism. Who could have imagined that so many of the world's most reputable scientists would be swimming upstream against this kind of urban myth?
Your point is such a good one, because without understanding the propogation of guilt, as related to the fuel behind this GW firestorm, it makes it that much more difficult to formulate a reasonably well, targeted campaign to wake up the "collective blinkers'. While I have no compunction about supporting cleaner, less expensive fuel technologies, I would have to categorize this 'collective blinking' phenomenon as one of the 'greatest capers' ever!
Geesh, I'll bet that religious and spiritual leaders, from across the globe are scratching their heads, trying to figure out how they might do even half as good a job of teaching people that greed is a much more devastating sin that driving a car is.
If this isn't an example of moral relativism gone wrong, I don't know what is.

If anyone thinks they are going to stop so called global warming they are stupid. Yes we will have it. Why cause the bible says so and it says why and what man can do to stop it only mankind does not wish to believe in the Godkind and so instead believes we came from some so called big bang which makes you wonder how that occured in the first place and what made such so called big bang. Or we evolved from some sort of worm slime thing and yet I do not see us still evolving. Of course things are going to get worse because man has proven they cannot govern themselves and they keep trying and the rich think only the rich should live only then they would have no one to feed off of and so would start devouring each other. All for greed and sooner or later will kill everyone off for money and then there would be no need for it anymore. Only God is going to step in before the greed mongrels do that and put a stop to it and we shall have one world order under God not man and if any man thinks they will over throw a spiritual government they will quickly find out how puny and insignificant man is.
