I love my daughter but sometimes she makes me crazy...Now I know we all want things in life . But that does not mean the money is available to get them. I do not have much money to spread aruond, matter of fact I am in financial woe most of the time... I can take two steps forward and end up three steps back. I don't blame my problems on anyone I just try to deal with them. Any ways often when I am trying to unwind from strees of the day she will hit me with some idea she has, and no matter what it always comes to her wanting me to help financially accomplish some goal she wants to accomplish. I am having enough problems with money and she seems to believe I have this magic sack that I can pull these funds from!! When I tell I can't give a definite answer as to when money will be available it's like the end of the world. Then I hear her saying it's my fault she can't prosper... Does anyone else have this problem???

Hi Hatley, Thanks for the input. My daughter is 19 years old and is employed. She just has habit of coming to me when I'm shaking off my daily stress with wants that I can not financially provide. I was really venting a bit since I happened to be on mylot at the time. Because she gets a slight bit upset that I don't have funds handy for what she wants. It has to be hard for you as well functioning on a s.s. check. Do you do well with the extra income for surveys and mylot? I haven't figured out how to make cash with surveys yet. Everytime I think I will get paid for something they want me to pay for something first. With mylot I have only managed a couple dollars so far but I'm giving it a go anyways. Mamablaze!!

I don't have a kid yet, but I understand you, tell her about your issue patiently and make a plan for money every week, define a percentage for her to use. how do you think about that?

This idea has potential... if I can get alittle more caught up I will try it. I must tell you that it's not like she's penniless. She's 19 years old and does have a job of her own and also has no overhead( such as rent etc,). Thanks for the input it does help...Mamablaze
