I think that is what all of us who want peace everywhere are hoping for. But
whatever happens will not be in our control. All we can do is wait and see what happens. Unfortunately, war only leaves people with suffering and pain. All those
effected are left picking up the pieces, because there are no real winners in the
aftermath of war.

Well we're still in Korea, Japan, and Germany and those wars have been over since before I was born. The aftermath of a war involves insurgents and issues like we are currently dealing with. We dealt with the same thing in Korea after that war ended. I consider the war itself to be over since we are now dealing with terrorists and not official Iraqi military. Saddam Hussein is out, his statue toppled, and the country is currently under US control. What remains now is the aftermath. We deal with insurgents, we put a friendly government in place, and we keep a military presence to ensure stability. It doesn't happen overnight, but it will happen.

Thanks for letting me know how it works. I'm not well informed about history,
that's no ones fault but my own. I didn't realize our presence in other countries
stemmed from previous wars...Mamablaze!!

I understand the difference between war and world war. I just had the idea this
war with Iraq was the tip of the iceburg. I didn't think the war was over because
we are still there and many people are still dying. So it doesn't feel like aftermath to me. Thanks for the response...Mamablaze!!

Nostradomas can be interupted many ways and so can the Bible or the Koran but the truth is that this is a global war and heating up..the United States has a lot of nukes and so does many countries like Israel...before this is over the nukes will be used..a few just to test the waters and then more and more but this won't bring the end of civilization but it will take 28 years or so from start to finish...
this will probably change life as we know it and our government will not be able to keep the masses of people in check..look how the system fell apart in Katrina?
this should show you how this country is not prepared for anything of the losses will will take when we are hit all over the United States and the loss of life and property is astronomical..good luck

Thanks for the input. I find the thought that this is all happening disturbs me to no end. Some people feel that everything is already done in Iraq I am personally still unsure...Mamablaze!!

Not an expert on Nostradamus but don't think he referred to the twin towers he talked about two leaders of two countries falling.
Also Nostradamus did predict a world war but am sure this equated to something like 1999
The reason Nostradamus has been so succesful becuase any historical event can be linked to his work because he is so imprecise - I wouldn't worry about predictions from him

I am hoping this is not true...but am concerned that your response my just
be possible. Not looking forward to even more extreme changes that will occur

I'd also like to add, that i read this prophecy 5 years ago. And, I've read some articles recently, where it said that Russia, Iran, China, and Syria, are partnering up for a possible world war.

I've heard a prophecy that the world war 3 will start in Syria. Also, i've had a dream too that WW3 will start there.
