Film awards for the stuntmen/women??

Have you ever thought about the men or women behind the scenes who are responsible for the entertaining & daring moves made by our favorite actors.These are the real brave guys-the stuntmen/women.
I wonder if they really get what they deserve to deliver the breathtaking actions for us?
Are they ever cared for?Are there any film awards for these heroes?I have never heard of one.
What do you think?

It seems that the writers strike has canceled it for this year but thay do deserve awards and are quite an important part of the entertainment business

When the hero jumps from a skyscraper then all the people clap. Actually the credit goes to the stunt man who has done this job. The actor walls away with rich cash but the stunt man gets a little pay and a sat from the director that it was a nice shot. This is what it happens.

it is really disheartening to see that the actors on the cinema taking all the credit for the stunts that the stunt men perform.
sometimes they risk their lives and at times they get into accidents and permanently loose their body parts and get disabled.
certainly their should be awards for these people.

thats really disheartening.especially some stuntmen even dont have insurance coverage for the damages....
