Mr.Mishra lost his only son in a road accident.Since then he has been suffering. Theres none to care for this oldman.Recently the bank seized the car his son had bought. His house long gone. With meagre pension,he takes tuitions for money & lives in a penthouse. He wont accept any help(except small ones) Being a honest man is that the way he should suffer. Is there a lifeline for oldmen like him?

I think when you are old you have more problems because you need help for many thing, you go back as you were a child, we can say that finish as we started...

Thats it friends! Theres always a circle of life, i believe so. We reach where we started. Our elderly deserve the same care that they gave us when we were children. Right?? Thanks for responding friends.

sometimes old age is synonymous with suffering and age that makes us bear things that we have never imagined of..... there are times when i feel what will happen to me when i grow old.... that gives me a lot of tensions thinking about the same.

Hey coolpats don't worry too much about the future. It will be fine, since you are a nice person buddy. And yes old age is becoming synonymous with suffering. More so because of no/low support from some of the younger generations. Thanks for responding.

Not All if many have suffered the same fate as Mr. Mishra. People have suffered even more when they are younger. It must have been something he was destined to be... he can actually get out of his miserable life if he chose to, you have mentioned he does not want to accept any help. So i guess many have offered to help him but he rejected them. We are like what we are because of the choices we make.

there is nothing we could do against destiny... some decisions are taken out of self respect. thanks for responding.

What he did was his own decision. He can choose to accept his fate and move for the better or he can choose not to accept any help. Considering that he is an old man already, by now he should have a fair share in life's experiences and he should learn from them...

You do not say how old he is. He has a small pension and earns some money, so maybe he does not need help. Of course he will suffer from the sad loss of his only son. That is what makes me sorry for him. Losing his house and his car are misfortunes but, compared to losing his son, they are not so bad.

Thats exactly true. Losing a able son is far greater than losing material property. Well, i think what sets him apart is his dealing with the sad episode and his attitude towards struggling in life. Thanks for responding.

I think the age isn't the most important problem. If you want to do something every time is ok.There is no lifeline for them, they also can do everything they want.

i agree no age is the age gone for doing something.but sometimes there are the inhibitions of old age like ill health, loneliness etc....i think that aspect suffers. thanx for discussing it lishiwei. ...have a good day
