What topics to talk with a friend?

I've got this problem...what topics can I talk about with a friend I dont know very well...(I dont like to talk about school with this guy) ANY HELP PLEASE?

You can ask about simple things like ; "that's a nice bag/bracelets/jacket/shoes! where did you buy it?" if this a new friend,don't ask "how old are you?" it's rude.

Oh,I think you can ask him what he like so that you can find the things you are the same and then it will be easy.Don't you think so?I think talk about the same hobby is the best.
