A 57 yr. old Woman killed by a Stingray, it jumpped out of boat and killed a a 57 yr. old Woman,officials say this has never happened, it happen in Florida. so be careful if you are in Floria on a Boat, because this could happen. They said it bit her in the face. they don't know if she hit her head on the boat and died or if it just killed her instantly, Isn't that the way Steve Erkal did? I think so. if any of you do live in Florida please be careful if your on a boat. My heart goes out to the family.

I read that on AOL and it is terrible. You never know how you're going to die. Are you talking about Steve Erwin(crocodile hunter)?

Sting rays might appear to be graceful, gentle creatures, but they can turn nasty too. Steve Irwin was killed by one when it whipped it's tail around and hit him in the heart. I suppose if they feel threatened, then anything is possible.

It was Steve Erwin, the zoologist and he was in the water with the stingray and its barb pierced his chest. Its a freak accident they come in all shapes and sizes. I wouldnt stress out too much. Its something that couldnt be prevented.

This is really a sad news. This is the second incident that I know involving a stingray killing people. This first was in Australia inlvoving the zoologist, Steve Erwin and now this pity woman. I don't really blame the stingray. It has a reason for being aggresive because stingray normally doesn't attack human for no reason.

I don't know a lot obout Stingrays but I know that they are deadly. and can kill you.
