wat do u guys think of the movie apocalypto..have u seen it how was it..i thought it was a good movie but not really upto what i had expected of it after all the hype created by my friends.

Although it is quite an original concept - I thought that the violence was way out of proportion. To such an extent that I feel Mel was looking to do a really violent movie and this is what came out finally!

A totally different film from what we were used to until this. The realism and the power of suggestion are imense. Originality is what describes it best...the language, the plot, the scenes...almost everything.
It is a film that keeps your attention.
The desperate run is my favourite.

I watched it and liked it immensely.It is easily one of the finest movies I have seen recently.Apocalypto is certainly Gibsons finest work. The end product is a masterwork displaying his true prowess in film making. The visuals are beautiful equaled only by the clever camera display in producing a truly entrenching experience.
