The Modern Sins...

The papacy , the Head of the Catholic faith listed a number of new sins especially, Generic Mutilations, cloning etc . What do you think about this...

My initial reaction is to agree fully with the Pope but I also want to read the church write ups for such matters. My basic reason for agreeing, is that the design of life shouldn't be meddled with but I also think that we are given the intelligence to improve our way of life and it would be a sin too against creation not to use it.

a mortal person cannot declare what is a sin and what is not! I strongly believe that way and even if they do that it will not change anything. If you are a real believer, you will already know the basics and the logic of the sins and you won't need anybody to tell you what a sin is,and what is not.
Besides, nobody is able to decide that for you. Nobody has a better position in front of the God. We are all human and we will all be judged as human there. They won't make things easier regarding to your job. They will only make things easier if you did your mission in the world successfully. and the meaning of this mission is, being a good person with a good heart. And if you are sincerely trying to be one,then you can decide what a sin is,and what is not.
