i don't know how old is this anime but i am only able to watch this just a while ago. i was searching for something good to watch and i found this movie.
and i loved it! i love the story of the movie. it has a little comedy, and a little romance, it has a lot more serious things in it, not usually the kind of anime that i watch, but still, i loved it. it even got me teary eyed at the end when okazaki was so depressed over nagisa's death. although it was predictable that he would be over with it through their little daughter, the scene was still heart-warming nevertheless especially when he saw, maybe imagined, nagisa watching over them beside the promised tree.
i am definitely going to watch the anime series of this. the movie left me wanting for more. you might say i should have watched the series first, but i actually didn't know there was a series. and i never bothered to search for it because i thought i was never going to like it.
so, any of you out there who have watched this anime?

yes your right. And also Ushio-chan. In that particular scene made me cry. Thats was the best created by Key. Key also produces AIR TV and KANON :D Clannad is the best so far for drama theme. The music is so good it fits the anime itself :D

heeeeee....i dont want to watch it! *not that it doesn't spark my interest* but i dont want to watch something like this. i dont want to watch an anime that would make me cry over and over again or just even remembering it. lol! promise, im easily bothered and if i watch something like this it affects my mood over the week. hahaha...yeah, im that pathetic!
i've watched Bokura ga Ita because they said its good, and it is. but, gosh! i cried a river over it. pathetic but its true. i dont want a liner that says something like this : if we look back at it now, its silly to think that we believed there is eternity because in reality it doesn't exist. but in that certain moment, when we kissed time stopped and it feels like eternity. i love Sano it hurts! bwahahahaha!
im good at evading this type of anime. hehehe

pokemon is not such a kid anime. a lot of adults enjoy it too. i used to watch it before but ever since one of our local stations dubbed it into our own language, it kinda made me disinterested in it. coz they made a very bad job.
i've already added Bokura ga Ita into my list. this is the first time i've seen anime characters with those kind of eyes! its different. how many episodes does this anime have? it has 25 episodes in crunchy.

I shouldn't have said its a tear jerky movie! and hey, maybe we have a different view on what's tear jerky and what's not? mybe you wouldn't cry over it. but reading those lines from Bokura ga Ita, I feel like crying! gaahh... I'm going to watch that. even if its gonna make me cry and upset for a few days. its good to cry once in a while, not just from laughing too hard but also from sadness. I get upset too from watching movies and shows like these, I would keep thinking about it for a few days feeling depressed because of some sad ending. but hey, at least it means the show was "effective".
oh, you can watch the series! there's a Clannad series. its not that sad like the movie and there's comedy in it. you won't be upset for a week. and its a good anime. I swear.

i haven't finished the series but it looks like that the movie is a summary of the entire series. some things were changed in the movie but it was in order to shorten the entire series. i'm loving the series too by the way.

the story is simple. he was alone at first and then one day he mets her.
she likes him, he gives her hope.
and then he find himself alone again, just like his childhood days, but after seeing another hope which is their daughter his life moves on.

Wahhh. Now I know the storyline. I was looking forward to watching this anime. I should have resisted visiting this discussion. hehe. But even if it was already spoiled for me, I would still watch it because it has positive feedbacks.

Yeah!!! It was really a sad episode! I was actually surprised with that episode because I never thought the creator would make a supernatural story arc. Fu-chan was a ghost right?? And ghosts are supernatural. I thought the series was all about real high school life.

I have seen the first 3 episodes but have not watched the rest because mostly I've been busy worrying about other things. .like finishing my AMV in time for a contest and homework I haven't finished for school as I am on spring break. . .but from what I saw I found it cute and would continue watching it when I've found the time.
