It is very important document for me. I have been keeping it for decades. I jot down all happenings in brief along with important addresses and phone numbers which I need at later stage. I also keep accounts in teh diary. If my diary is missing or not available on time, I become uncomfortable. It is a nice habit to write diary.

I do not write lengthy sentences in the diary. It is only in brief and hence keeping in my library, a section for diaries will not occupy much space. The size of the diary is 1/6th size and it is of the size of small novel. But the space is not fully used up but it contains some valuable information for me.

I love to keep a diary and have done so for many years, unfortunately the hours I have in a day are becoming less and less and I do not seem to get any time to keep up with it. But I think I am going to make a big effort to start keeping up with it again, I like to read back on them every so often and see how I have changed over the years. Although I do not really need a diary to tell me that anymore!

Hello dear plumwish. I don't write personal diary. That was many years ago when I was in my early twenties and teens. I stopped it after I got married. I think that it is not safe to write a diary when it is read by someone else. For this reason, I gave it up long ago. But like what you said, mylot is a very good place to write a public diary and I love it here though.

I used to keep a diary when I was younger but these days I have a plain book that I only write in if something is bothering me and usually convert those thoughts and feelings into a poem at some stage. I used to love rereading my old diaries though as it made me realise how much I had grown with different things, may start again now. Ellie:D

I journal daily for many reasons, I am not really here enough and I don't post enough to follow my daily activities and the other things I need remembered. I don't keep a running blog and I don't have time for a lot of personal online stuff due to the company, my personal practice and the family.

I started to write a diary about 5 times and it never lasted longer than 3 months. i guess I'm just not suited for this xD I have a calendar to organize thing I need or should do but it's as far as I go. However I don't think that myLot can be a substitute, blogs are better for that and maybe you should start one only for this purpose? ;)

Hi Plumwish. I actually do still keep a personal diary. It helps me to look for patterns, issues that seem to keep popping up time and again. That way I can see what changes I need to make. It also helps me see how far I've come on all levels, emotionally, spiritually, etc. But yet another thing is it helps me keep track of what works and what doesn't with any health issues. It's a place for me to reminisce. It's a celebration of life.
