For those of you who celebrate easter, I hope you enjoy your day off, Have a huge Sunday Dinner, and eat lots of chocolate (for those of you who have Easter egg hunters)
For those of you who dont celebrate Easter, I hope you have a good weekend anyways, and maybe you got lucky and got a three day weekend anyways!
Let me know what kind of traditions you have for Easter. Like dinner, decorations, or anything else!

Well this year it's just my Mom, brother and I. So we have decided to just go out for dinner. We haven't decided for sure but probably brunch. My youngest brother is 26 so we won't be coloring eggs, making baskets or eating chocolate....darn. Usually we go to my other brothers house for a ham dinner. This year however they are going to my sister in laws aunts house and though we are invited we really don't know them very well so we politely reclined...that way we can also sleep in.

I loved Easter as a kid. We had time off school. The Easter bunny would hide eggs in the yard for us to hunt and he would leave us an Easter basket full of goodies. Then we would have a big Turkey dinner on Sunday with all the family. I'm afraid these days I don't get time off for Easter in fact I am working overtime all weekend, but at least I have memories of Easters past.

Happy Easter to you too. I will going to see my mother and sister and have dinner there. On Saturday night I will watching my movie on TV for Easter "The Ten Commandments" I just love that old movie, for me it's not Easter unless I watch it. When I get to my sister's place I will probably sneak into my nephew's basket and have a piece of chocolate that the Easter Bunny has left. LOL!

We definitely celebrate Easter as it is a cornerstone to our Christian faith. Also, Easter is an important family time and we will be getting together with my brother and parents for dinner this Sunday. Everyone has been busy with different schedules so I haven't seen my parents in a few weeks even though they only live about 15 minutes away. I am looking forward to taking some time this Sunday to visit and catch up on various things we all have going on.

In china we don't celebrate easter, and I know little about it.But in my opinion ,a lot of people are busy with their careers, and they don't want to make up some time for that.I think we are too tired .we shoud have a rest now.Festival is a perfect chance for us.

I doubt if we'll do anything for Easter. My son is 13 now step daughter 25 stepson lives far away. We're too poor to have decent food in the house. I haven't been happy for a very long time so I really don't care if I don't make a Sunday Dinner for my husband and his father and my son could care less too he'd rather be out playing with friends.

Hiya jess368 Happy Easter to you, we are not doing anything special, my mum and dad are coming to give the kids their eggs. I am not cooking a big dinner although i will be doing a little buffet thing so we can just help ourselves, so that will be nice because I love picking at food! We do not do easter egg hunts or anything we just give the eggs out. Take care,

Thanks and same to you too.
Normally in Jamaica where i am riginally from we would have bun and cheese, fried fish. Of course since it is a religious holiday, then most people tend to go to church as well and speand the rest of time with family and friends.

Happy Easter!
I'm actually trying to come up with new traditions to start since it's just my son and I and he's now old enough to know whats going on.....wish me luck!
