11:11 What does it mean?

I keep seeing 11:11.I have for years.My ex-husband who passed away in 1999 always made a big deal about it when he seen it.I really don't know much about it other that seeing it all the time,and have heard that spirits are supposed to be around you then and you're supposed to be able to say whatever and they hear you.I'm not big into that as it scares me.Am i crazy?or is there something to this?Do you see this time often,what does it mean to you?I'd like to know more
