YES, you can say that we treat tibetans"unequal",but what i know is, as a student, we all need to attend a test to be admitted by the universities. in most of chinese provinces, we need to get a score of 600 to 700(total 750) to be enrolled by the top universities. but for tibetans, they only need 400 to 500,besides they can get some extra points as they are minority. YES, we are really unequal in this aspect. They are even superior than us.
Some foreign friends say that chinese governmetn shot some demonstrators. Frankly speaking, i dont know whether the government fire in the incident(i think you dont know the truth either and i even saw some germany tv uses pics in nepal as what happened in tibet), but if you see the video, a group of rioters with knives, crashing into the streets, shops, banks, buring cars, buildings, killing commoners, what should the police do? this is just my own opinion, if you disagree what i said, you can talk with me openly. thank you.

i think i can say that the Chinese military were the ones engaging into riots with their wooden sticks. i can see the Chinese military emblem on their uniform so its hard to fake it and take note ITS NOT THE FOREIGN MEDIA'S footage, its our own local media's footage(phil) so i'll say they are not faking it. we have our own reliable media source so we do not need to be influence by western media. and as far as i can see, Tibetian people were pretty much oppressed in that footage.

nepal police sanctioned by the Chinese military?? we can clearly distinguished the language you know, the one's you said the Nepal police spoke in Mandarin directing other police as well as shooing cameramen away. the ralliest spoke in Sino-tibetan.
what would our media gain if they mislead such reports???? just some news happening outside our own right?

Why does China insist on keeping Tibet? Why won't China let Tibet be independent? That is the main problem not inequalities and who rioted or killed Chinese or tibetan.
My opinion the police should evacuate all the Chinese from Tibet, then there won't be any rioting. Problem solved.

Northern Ireland is a complex problem, in that the majority protestant population wishes to stay with the UK and the minority catholic wishes to be part of Ireland. Northern Ireland does not wish to be a completely independent country.
I would willingly give the Falklands back to Argentina, if that was what the people wanted.
True I don't know much Chinese or Tibetan history but you don't know much British history either. All I see is China occupying a country, that doesn't want them there. I would guess China wants Tibet for the resources that the country has.

sorry for Northern Ireland, some of they want to back the Republic Ireland. you have neglected the fact which is most people lives in Northern Ireland are british, most original people were killed by british , others leaved to Americas and a little were survived. do you think the most british who lives Northern Ireland will let Northern Irelan back to Ireland? this is your "fair referendum".
you shuold read the history of your country and what was your country brought to the world.
i know there are no gas and no oil in Tibet.

Thank you for your reply. I see you are from Singapore. We Chinese dare not say Tibetans are ferity. That's partly because of Tibet's bad culture enviroment. The Chinese government is trying every efforts to help their development. As I had said, for Tibetans, they can go to Perking University(the top university of China) while we do not have the opportunity even we get a mark 200 higher than them. We all hope Tibet can develop rapidly because it's part of China.
Thank you again.

The issue of Tibet is just an excuse of some westerns. When the GDP of China will soon surpass that of German, replacing the position of the so-called traditional powerful country with good economic situation. What will some uninsane people think?
The subprime lending crisis, the depreciation of dollar, the boycotte of Olympic......just link all the issues, you will get the answer.
A war of Economy and Fince has started~!!
