I know that there are a bunch of ppl here that love to read books. And the topic just dawned onto me and i thought that i'd post that.
So,what's your favorite book that you like to read on your spare time?
I guess mine would be Tuned Out.I don't know if you've ever heard of that book before, but it is an old book that was wrote back in the 60s.and it is about a boy that is nuts about his brother.and than his brother comes home from college and the boy finds out that his brother is on LSD.and so he tries to get his brother to quit the drug, and his brother doesn't.So,after awhile,
his brothers gets on a bad trip and winds up in the hospital.and they put him in the psychic hospital for awhile.
but it's a real good book to read.I can only remember that much though. It has been like years since i've read that book.

So many wonderful books have read and fell in love with each page and word.I can't honestly pick a favorite. They all seem like old friends.Stephen King is my favorite author. The first book i ever read by him was "Pet Cemetary" so I guess since that was the first book I read of his I love it a little more then the rest.

I am a huge fan of Terry Pratchett and love all his books. They are so full of wit and humour, yet his writing parallels the reality of the world beautifully.

My favourite books of all time must be the epic masterclass written by JRR Tolkien. The trology are 'The Fellowship of the Ring, 'The Two Towers' and 'The Return of the King'. If you have seen them, the movies are just as amazing. The language is a bit complicated and flowery that I have to read three times for each of the books in order to fully understand the storyline.
