I live here in the Philippines and since we cant grow oranges we get it from countries like yours. Here, the orange is much more expensive as it is around $4 or more to 20 oranges. But I love the Philippine mango and since its summer season and season of Mangoes, its the cheapest to be at this time.

Oranges are really cheap here, too. It's about 3lbs or so for a dollar at my local store. That's also about 20 to 25 oranges. It also depends on the season. I also get bananas at one store for about 40 cents a pound, too. I would say that those are the cheapest fruits in my area right now. Other fruits get cheaper as they come into season.

All the prices for groceries have gone up recently, so we pay more for produce too! Oranges and bananas are cheapest right now, about 2 pounds for a dollar on sale! Mangoes are a dollar each and kiwi are three for a dollar!

Kiwi is a fruit from Australia, I think! It is small, green fruit covered by a light brown, fuzzy skin! The fruit has tiny seeds that you eat, they are black soft seeds that make the fruit especially beautiful when it is sliced in a certain way! The fruit is sweet and juicy when it is ripe, soft too!

the cost of living is fairly high at the moment but don't forget that bananas are imported along with many of our fruit. I paid nearly £3/$6 the other week for a bag of apples admittedly they were quite large apples

The fruits here are probably more expensive then other places. A 5lb. bag of oranges is about 4.00 us. Banana's we get for .49 a lb. Lemon's have gone through the ceiling anywhere from .70 to 1.00 each!. It wasn't long ago you could buy 4-1.00. Limes are still cheap 4-1.00

it used to be bananas at about 25cents a pound you could get quite a few bananas for your dollar - but they have gone up quite a bit the last couple of months... grapes can be had on sale for 99cents a pound I bought strawberries on Saturday for $1.25 a pound and thought that was a great price. Soon price per pound the best buy will be watermelons and tomatoes.

Here in the Philippines, bananas seem to be the cheapest fruit - only 0.50 USD per kilo of bananas. The foreign fruits like apples and grapefruit are considered expensive, but in some markets, you can buy a Fuji apple worth 0.25 USD a piece.
