What Have You Done This Holy Week? Do U Have Any Sacrifice Done?

I didn't went online since March 17, (monday) until yesterday, March 21, Good Friday, and didn't do any myLotting. I guess that was my little sacrifice in observance of the Holy Week, aside from going to church, not going online no matter how I wanted to. So I am sorry to friends in myLot whom I missed the discussions here. I was planning to get online tomorrow (Sunday), but my husband who works overseas texted me to get online today, saturday, coz he said he can't get online this sunday. After chatting with hubby, I log in myLot and trying to respond to some discussions. What about you, what have you done in observance of the Holy Week? Have you done some sacrifice?

Well, I don't put any music and I avoid eating red meat and I try to eat only fish. Tomorrow I will attend the Easter Sunday Mass since it symbolises the resurection of our Lord Jesus Christ.

I am sad to say I haven't really done anything special but in my defence there isn't much I could give up! My 14 year old son though has given up chocolate for the whole of the Lentern period and done very well - I think it means more that it was his own decision to give something up and he chose chocolate which is one of his favourite things! xxx

I think your son must have done that sacrifice of not eating chocolate not only for him but for you too. Appreciated your response mummymo.

I was not able to eat meat, I refrain from singing songs, listening to songs and also I also went with my family to the Church

That's good of you to do in observance of the holy week. Well, I must add, I also did not do my usual karaoke singing. I have also avoided eating meat. Thanks for taking part in this discussion.
