Do you believe in Godmen or saints?

in China,a lot of people believe in Buddhism and we will go to temples to make a wish and if our dreams come true,we will come to temples again to do something to thank the saints. it's a tradition and i believe it.

As a Catholic, yes I do. Though I haven't seen in person any divine Goodman or Saints but I do believe in thier existence. Normally the saints have no special power but they have strong faith in God and therefore they can be install as Saints.

They are more like an inspiration to me, but never pray to never for whatever i want, cause they too were men to walked the face of the earth just like me. I think it is entirely wrong for some people to pray to these saints, i know catholics have patron saints for the hopeless, even patron saint for pets. These i really do not understand. Anyways... I have read some of the lives of the saints, i think they have lived well and must be followed in some ways. They were holy and was selfless. If we can be like them for an instance, we could make a difference in a person's heart.

Deat Satkumar, There is a lot of difference between saints and psychics. A psychic can try and find out your past and future and give you some guidance in your daytoday activities... that is all they can do. A saint is someone who can be your inspiration for life or even for several lives. They inspire you to become Divine and their life itself is a great book to be emulated. If there were no saints, there would be no proof of the existence of the Supreme Being of which they are part. Saints are the inspiration for us, so that we can also become Divine. They show us that everyone is a child of God and everyone can reach the Supreme Being if you just persevere. I feel sorry for you that you have not seen anyone like that. But having been in the Spirtual presence of one for more than a lifetime(I definitely believe that this is not the first birth I have the good fortune of having had this opportunity), I can surely say that if you have met a real saint in your life, you can never be the same again. They don't gain anything by guiding us. Only we benefit from them. It is not the other way round. Please note that I am not talking about the fake ones that try to live luxuriously by cheating other people.. I am talking about real saints here. It is because of their pure love and seeing the suffering of humanity, they try to show us the path so that we too might be in eternal bliss. You can see God's love in the way they mingle with you, and you will not be able to hold back your tears when you meet one. You won't even know why you are crying in the first place. I believe it to be the most blessed opportunity of having met a saint in this life and I don't have any words to express my gratitude to God for having given me such a Master. If I hadn't had the guidance of my Guru, I wouldn't be alive to answer you now. I sincerely pray that you have such an opportunity to meet your spiritual master soon. You will understand what I have said... not until then.
