I've always loved cooking. But within the last 2 years, I have my fondness to cooking increased due to my loving husband.
I'm married to an underweight and it is such a great challenge to normalize my hubby's weight.
So, tonight, since it is Black Saturday, we both would like to abstain from eating meat. We both chose to eat either chicken or seafood for our meals.
I didn't have much ingredients to go about making a pretty good complicated food since I have not gone through my usaul grcery routine yet. I decided to try out a simple yet sophisticated dish.
With the help of my husband, I managed to whip up a fragrant and palate satisfying tuna pasta with the use of canned tuna, garlic, onion, olive oil, italian seasoning, salt, pepper, and pasta twirls.
Both me and my husband enjoyed the dish so much inspite of the fact it has just been invented this very evening as well. :)

Yes, chicken is still meat however, some debate that it is considered white meat. I'm not too sure about the explanation but as I can see it, chickens don't normally eat meat as well and they have less likeness to human anatomy than cows or pigs, etc.
So, some say chicken is excusable. Good news to you if you share the same opinion. ;)
Thanks for the compliment by the way. And I do hope you try tasting the food you're preparing every now and then so you can make adjustments to its taste even before serving. Try that one. It really helps.
Cheers!

Wow, the first time you made the dish and it tasted wonderful? Hats off to you. My brother, siters and I always try to come up with new dishes, and they're not always successful. hehe. But it was lots of fun.
My mom makes tuna pasta sometimes. It was when we were craving for pasta and she doesn't have ground beef. Since a can of tuna is pretty inexpensive, she used it. It became one of our favorites.

Thanks Swirlz!
I think the trick is to taste the what you're cooking every now and then so that you can still remedy the taste even before you finish cooking or preparing the food.
Maybe you could try it out first without telling the secret to your siblings. Then they'd really be impressed with your cooking. Haha!
But really try that one out. It helped my partner a lot. She now cooks complicated dishes very well, even her family and friends are impressed. ;)

We make tuna and pasta quite often in our home. We have a few different recipes for it. Some are hot meals some are cold but they're all tasty and easy to make.
My son makes it really good, with macaroni, peas, diced carrots, tuna, black olives, diced cucumber and mayo.
