i have tile in 90% of my house now we pulled all the carpet out back in the spring due to allergies to the carpet i'm loving the tile floor i can keep it clean where carpet absorbs everything down to the padding i couldn't believe how dirty it can get .

my wife wants more tile for the same reasons.

I've got both in my house. We put ceramic tile in the kitchen, entryways, and bathrooms because it's easier to clean. The rest of the house is carpet which makes for a cozier feel and warmer walking in the wintertime.
