Has anyone been to Richards, Texas before? It is in Grimes county I think. Either Grimes or Walker. It is a really small town near Montgomery (Montgomery is the birth place of the Texas flag).
Anyways, there are lots of farmland and grazing land around this town. The town itself is like one block of clustered buildings. They look so old fashioned too, just like something you'd see in a Western show or movie! I think there old two-story saloon is now a real estate office. There is another building that looks like a one-story saloon that is now an antique shop. They even have a building that looks like it was made from adobe, like something you'd see in Mexico or somewhere.
There are also lots of old houses that looks like they were made in the 1920-50's It is very beautiful out there. If anyone plans on going passed there when they are on vacation, I recommend stopping by for a while and taking pictures of all the neat sites.

My father was born and raised in Richards, Texas. We have visited there on many occasions. It was always very peaceful and quiet. Always enjoyed the quaint look of the town.
