I do sometimes go to the discussions at the bottom of a page, and respond to them.
I responded to one a short while ago, about Easter, and when I looked at how long ago it was posted, it was a year ago! Furthermore, I received acknowledgement from the poster almost immediately!
Brightest Blessings.

Not necessar. Only if I find the other discussion interesting then only I go for a reply, otherwise I skip.

That is a good idea, and something I do a lot of, sometime the discussions are really old but you can be sure that they won't be deleted and that you are not wasting your time on them, because if they are more than a month old there is no chance of you losing a point through replying! When you find a great discussion and there are other discussions on the same subject beneath then you can get really stuck in, if you are on a roll. I don't take any notice of how old they are I still respond even thought the original poster may have left months ago and never returned LOL

I used to earlier...but now I find I don't have the time to respond to all the discussions of my friends that are of interest to me....let alone check other discussions.
But yes, when I have the time, I certainly do and there are lots of interesting discussions down there too.

Of course... there are people that give opinions that I would like clarification on or give my opinion that may be contrary to theirs to find a great discussion to be started.
A lot of times there is no 'right' or 'wrong' but a great discussion on what one feels ....
Isn't that what MyLot is all about?
Thanks

If I am not in a hurry, surely I would like to take a look at the finished response, to make sure that whether there are any missing words or grammatical errors. If I find that the similar discussions at the bottom of the page are interesting I would then try to answer them as well.

Yes. I do this quite often but sometimes I am apprehensive to respond to them right away because alot of the discussions are from ym friends and I always get their alert in my inbox. I do not want to take the chance on responding twice with the same information. I do take a look at them though and see what kind of response they got and see if it answers my question also.

I have done this a couple of times just lately actually, I did not always notice them before, but sometimes I will see one that is really interesting and I just have to respond to it.

I do that alot actually, I just keep scrolling and can often find another discussion to post too. There realy are so many options to finding a discussion, I can not see how anyone could get board. Sometimes I have trouble, but most times I can find at least one more similar to respond to.
