Yes, Posers are always hide their real personality, mood. But everyone does need to conceal their feelings sometimes. pretence is pretence only when people cheated just for themselves . It's good strategy when used to help the collective. I don't like posers at all. But I do appreciate those great idea man.

I haven't got my photo as my avatar(no, that's not me, honestly, LOL), as I'm just not completely comfortable with that sort of thing. That doesn't mean that I'm not sincere and honest with what I say, I just like that little bit of anonymity!

There are always going to be people, whether on the net or in real life, that are never going to be truthful. I guess it is just that much easier on the internet for them!

I hate those people. They suck! They use someone else's identity for their own good without even thinking about giving acknowledgment to the real people they are pretending to be. What's worse, the real person's identity is in peril because some might think that the fake one is real and will tell that the real person is a whak or etc. who knows?!

also, they are confusing the people who are viewing them.

I understand some people feel more comfortable to keep their real identity unknown. Maybe the company they work for instructed them to do that (like CIA :)). I prefer to use my genuine identity. You know, I use my own picture to be my avatar. Even I use my odd real name to be my user name in mylot LOL. It takes less energy to be myself.

maybe they are not comfortable on showing who they really are. but wait how would you know if they are a poser if they hide their real personality and pretend like they are somebody else? i think to each is own, we cant force people to be the real them specially on the net.

like you know. grabbing someone's photos and create their own profiles using those pics then tell the people that the pictures are theirs. Sometimes it confusing. You don't know who is the real owner of the pictures but afterwards, you will know.
