Life of a girl !!

According to Indian culture, girls are meant to be very timid in nature. It is said that girls have changed a lot.. but do you think they have really changed??
They are still very conservative and conventional.. They are bound to stick on to the superstitious thoughts though they know that it can never become true..
What do you think about the life of such an indian girl??!!

Hi Harrrish,
I come from Mumbai. I have never known a timid girl all my life. They are a bit conversative 50% . But so are the men.
I think the men are more superstitious. Girls are getting good & better jobs all over India & having a gala time.
Even girls who work as maids are doing well.
Come on boy wake up.
I don't think anywhere in Indian scriptures or books it is stated so. Its only the scared man who hinks so.
ladies have done well since ancint time & are doing so even today.
Take the example of our former late Pime minister, Mrs Indira Gandhi. She made brought all the male dominated opposition to their knees during the late seventies & early eighties.
What about our Beauty queens like Aishwarya Rai. They are world renowned, while hardly anybody outside the bollywood followers know about Amitabh Bachchan.
Guy the girls have gone far ahead , so this is no longer an issue.

It's not compulsory in Indian culture or Religion to be conservative.
Its a label put just to submit them or may be to glorify.
Indian girls have their pluses & minuses just as Indian men or any other people of the world.
I don't think Mumbai is the only place where there is less conservativeness. It depends on how you define conservativeness. I don't think the town & villages are far behind.
There is much more liberation out nowadays.
Why Not?
You just have to travel around to see for yourself.
Financial freedom has a lot to do. Give any girl her financial freedom & freedom of expression. Its only then that you can see her true pesonality.
Believe me Indian Girls have a lot more spunk than the average girl of the world.
Its a Women's World out here nowadays & I don't mind at all.
