you would too as the climate is very nice but the main thing the people would treat you with the respect you deserve. i am always talked to my young and old people as they know how to treat a stranger..they always treat me like one of the family..a rare things nowdays..it restores your faith in people..people used to be like that when i grew up..respect for everyone

you are right. my children dare not talk back to me when i raised them as they knew better..but now the kids are like the wild animals...no respect..but in the Philippines my wife's relatives are more like we used to be..i treat them like a child of my own and a child will only do what they hear from their adults ..most people work two jobs and don't have time to spend with their children..so sad..
my mother always was there for us when we were not in school and taught us to behave and not be mean to strangers...we went to church and learned the Bible stories that stuck with us all our lives so we have a faith to substain us in times of trouble.
Some people have NO faith and nothing to fall back on in times of trouble...we could always rely on our relatives for moral support..and maybe a few dollars if we were in need..we did not depend on the charity or the government as family took care of family..we don't seem to do this anymore..no faith means a life that will have no purpose...the world today is just to selfish and materialistic

Thanks very much for promoting my country. We are also rich in history and culture aside from the 'to die for' beaches. We are the islands of fiestas. Everyday, somewhere in the country, there are people celebrating their fiesta be it in the barrio or in the bigger city. I do hope a lot of you would land here one day and I guarantee you will not regret it. thanks for the very nice post!

I have jsut moved to England March 21 and I miss Phlippine's sunny weather already. It's not really my first time to live in a cold place as I have lived in Benguet for 10 months in 1996-1997. There the clouds were below me so the sun hardly showed up too. Our house was somewhere 7,000 feet above sea level and you could imagine how cold it was there the whole year through.
I agree with you, Filipinos are friendly especially in the provinces. And anywhere you go around the country you will always find sand and sun except of course in Mountain Provinces.
One can never really appreciate what s/he has until it is taken away. Back in the Philippines I always complained about the heat. But now that I'm in Norwich, I miss the sun terribly. I hope I will get used to the weather soon.

I really love to travel. I would so love to visit the beautiful Philippines. I would be delighted with the warm weather and sunny days. I would spend time on white sand beaches with palm trees and I would go in the blue ocean snorkeling to see colorful coral and friendly fish. It would be amazing to go island hopping and stay in beach front thatched huts. I think the people from the Philippines are really friendly and I would like to meet more of them. I would enjoy eating delicious tropical fruits and eating fresh coconut. I have heard about the beautiful island of Palawan, the tiny island of Boracay and the interesting Chocolate Hills. Yes, I am sure that I will go to the Philippines and love it there. When I do I am certain that I will take many photos of the amazing scenery.

Thanks for the information and the gorgeous photo. I think that I would so love to fly to to the Philippines then go to Thailand and Vietnam. I wonder if Guam is really expensive. I am happy when I see coconut palm trees and a lovely tropical beach. I so love to stay in tree houses and simple looking beach huts. I adore tropical islands and my favorites that I have been to so far are Samoa, French Polynesia and the Seychelles.

This is the place. The time is early morning and you are in the "cool" time of the day before the sun heats up and its too hot..but now you can enjoy the many sights and sounds of the ocean..the people ...and you are alone in paradise

That sounds great to me and also, I found that in the Philippines, when you bring food from outside to a theater, they allow it..
Now to earn the money to go
