before i comment, pls don't judge me.. i'm just sharing my point of view based on my experience.
i am separated 3 yrs. not legally though. we are just apart. my son is with me.
few years before the separation, we have already been experiencing problems. We both tried to make it work but problems occur over and over. although we avoid as much as possible not to argue infront of our son who was 5 then, he is aware that mommy and daddy can't get along.
after separation, both of us focused to make ourselves better. for me,it feels like a fresh start. i got a good job, i am able raise my son alone and can give him some of what he wants. he's doing good in school. and i felt better as an individual, i am stress free, i eat better and able to focus on the future.
i believe that, we deserve to live better. life is too short to waste spending it miserably.

What's the essence of the sacrament of matrimony when there is an option to have a divorce?
Annulment is one thing and now divorce?! I'm not surprised if there will come a time that even abortion would be legalized. Ugh!

I don't think divorce should be legalized here in the Philippines. Marriage is not something you could take back. It is a sacred ceremony that involves people who are sure about their feelings. Some people just experiment on marriage which is not good. I agree that if it was legal here in the Philippines it would be abused.

I think that devorce should be legalized everywhere. In the time of my grandmother when they lived in Asia, divorce was taboo. Here in America, divorce is nothing to feel ashamed about. If the wife or husband gets unfaithful, there is no reason for the other one to endure this. Especially when one gets uses violence against another. I think it is wrong to endure this and anybody should have the right to get a better lifestyle rather then beeing treated badly.
