Which one is your favourite? Do you prefer something older like married with children . Or maybe something newer - According to Jim. Or maybe something thats been around for a while ie Friends. Perhaps something incredibly random like Seinfeld. What is the best?

I have two all time favorite sit coms, Taxi and Barney Miller. They are timeless. And I find them more funny than any of the new sit coms.

Seinfeld was great. I could still watch the reruns. What makes me laugh on TV now? - House, Two and a Half Men, Entourage, the Return of Jezebel James are some. I have a feeling I'm forgetting one or two that are off due to the writer's strike though. Out of the lineup, out of mind evidently... ...whit

Favortie has to be Gilmore Girls. But since its not on any more I just get the re-runs. I do however now watch House every chance I get. So my favorite running show is House. Got to love a doctor that tells the patients to shut up!

I have enjoyed several good sitcoms over the years. I loved Friends, Scrubs, Happy Days, among others. There has never been one as funny as Mork and Mindy, though. That show still makes me laugh. Robin Williams brought so much to the show, and is such a funny actor, I don't think there will ever be a show as funny as that one.

I love the series Friends I wish it was still on. I don't care for the newer sitcoms they just arent as funny as the old ones were although I do like the sitcom 2 and a Half Men. Married With Children was a good show too.

There are many excellent older sitcoms, so its hard to just pick one. Recently, I have been watching The Andy Griffith Show and every episode is wonderful; however, if your looking for the funniest episodes, then its I Love Lucy. Lucy can make me happy no matter how bad a day I am having even the worst ones.

Hands down I Love Lucy is the best sitcom ever produced. It's the Longest runing sitcom in tv history! Never been off the air. Has to say something about the quality and appreciation for it! I'm a fan, could watch it all day long! But another one I like is Wonder Years, not in re runs often and not out on DVD yet either. Another good one is The Andy Griffith Show - plain simple classic, ;augh till you cry, comedy! Not as great as Lucy, but a good top 5! Another in that group is Mama's Family with Vicki Lawrence. Side splitting laughter!

My favorite sitcom would either be "Seinfeld" or "Arrested Development". Looking at "Arrested" though, I remember buying the first season of "Arrested", because of all the critical acclaim it had gotten. I devoured the season within a couple of days, and since have gotten all my friends hooked on it. The writing is so sharp, the teleplays so polished, each episode is like a little masterpiece. And I think it will be a long time before an ensemble on a sitcom comes close to the perfection that was the cast of "Arrested". And I've probably seen every "Seinfeld" episode made (several times), but everytime an episode comes on it's always a treat. Right now the only sitcoms I really watch are "Two and a Half Men" and "30 Rock".

My favorite of all time is "How I Met Your Mother" on CBS. It never fails to make me laugh! And, not just laugh. A good old fashioned belly laugh with tears running down my face, pause the tv so I don't miss anything, my sides hurt and I don't think I will ever be able to stop laughing kind of laugh! I love that show! I love the cast! I love LOVE love the one liners! I love the way that they incorporate little things into the show that, 3 months from now, may crop back up in the show like the Slap bet or the horn from when he met Robin. I LOVE this show! LOL! How about you? Have you ever seen it? If so, what did you think about it?
