Have TV and the movies helped to break down many taboos in our lifes? One that springs to mind was the first inter racial kiss between Captain Kirk and Ltn Ohura in the late 60's on the original Star trek. It took that long to feature a inter racial kiss!! Do you know or are you touched by certain barriers that have been breached by the film world? I still worry that the kiss between Charlton heaston and Zira the chimp in 'planet of the apes' was a bit soon as i feel beastiality is still not acceptable in this day and age...but maybe that is for another discussion!

I loved that kiss between Kirk and Ohura! What a moment! And as you well know, Planet of the Apes, the original one, is a top fave of mine! But I don't think that I would call his kissing her beasitality in that case, though. I would classify it more as a racial thing, what with the apes being "superior" beings in that society, and the top of the food chain, and all. I think it would have been cool to see a baby between Zira and Taylor - an interesting combo, yes? But Nova would have been jealous and she was a sweet soul, undeserving of betrayal. Did you know that Herman and Lily Munster were the first couple to be shown sleeping in the same bed? Yup, true. Before that, couples were always shown in separate beds. Another groundbreaking happening submitted for your pleasure, darlin.

Oh, I so agree with you on that! Mark Wahlberg was nice to look at, but the rest of it sucked, for sure. Hey, thanks so much for the BR, baby!!!! Unexpected, certainly, but most delightful. You are such a rockin dude!
