Actually Javier Macherano blew Liverpool chances of winning the game or at least a draw. In the first 15 minutes, Liverpool played better games with beautiful passing although Manchester United created many chances of scoring goals. The turning point was when Macherano was sent off. He has no reason to question the referee after he had picked the first yellow card. Knowing that the second yellow card will means red card and off you go. Liverpool should blame themselves for losing the game. It is so obvious that Liverpool were weak in midfield and defending. Whereas for Torres, he hardly touch the ball. Liverpool should think of engaging new manager. Benitez is not for Liverpool.

As much as it pains me to say this, but I have to agree with you. Liverpool were way too casual, they kept giving the ball away in the first half, and in the end, Man U scored just before half time. When Mascherano got sent off, i know this wasn't going to be a good day. We were pathetic. The defense was bad, the midfield couldn't work together and Torres hardly got the ball. One thing I have to ask though, when is Benitez going to realise that Arbeloa and Aurelio are not good enough for Liverpool? Of all the players on the field, I think they were the worst.
